So much fun in the Challenge World this week!! And Lesley over at ALWAYS PLAYING WITH PAPER has really stirred things up with a tic-tac-toe challenge!
Now, I have never participated in one of these, so at first I went "huh uh". But of course, my curiosity got the better of me!! As it turns out, this is probably one of the easiest challenges I've ever done. I mean, just about anything you make fits in the grid somehow!
I started out with a plan to follow the vertical grid on the left side "blue/clean & simple/designer papers"....but the designer papers didn't really fit my vision. So I changed to the top horizontal grid "blue/dry embossing/snow" and used the pattern of my embossing folder to simulate snowflakes in the background. Even though I wanted the overall look of CLEAN AND SIMPLE, I think I got there going the other direction. I love it when a plan comes together LOL!!
I've used Stampin' Up! christmas ornaments & dies from their past Holiday mini, along with Paper Trey Signature Christmas Greetings. Colors are Island Indigo & Pool Party....both Blues! Oh, and even a teeny blue rhinestone on the ornament! The twine is SU! also.
Be sure to check out the other entries over at ALWAYS PLAYING WITH PAPER for some fabulous inspiration. I was very honored to be named for HONORABLE MENTION last week!!! Thank you, Lesley & the DT!!!!
Happy SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!!
