This week has flown by & dragged at the same time. Ever have one of those weeks?? I've spent much of it at the hospital with my mom and those are long hours! But she is doing well & hopefully will be coming home soon!!
When I came home yesterday, I needed my craft room and some serious stamping & card making time!! MOJO MONDAY has been calling out to me all week & I haven't been able to play. Nice to know I have my priorities in order, right?!!
First of all, I love this sketch! How fun & fresh!!
The colors I chose to work with are all Stampin' Up! - Pool Party, Real Red, Basic Black & also Paper Trey Stampers Select White, with Memento Black ink.
This stamp & sentiment are one of SU!'s Sale-A-Bration sets "Feeling Sentimental". I took the extra step of using a Polka Dot Embossing Folder to add texture to the card base. Love that effect! Also used Sizzix "Tasteful Trims" die to make the scallop border.
Last of all, the Pool Party Button is also a SAB freebie!! I really do like the ribbons & buttons being offered this year :) I think that pretty much covers everything - oh, except the paper piercing! Love that little effect, too!!
