My last blog post -- that I have fondly nicknamed "my jaunt down failure lane" -- took a day or two to recover from!
So I took the advice that I would give to a friend that was recovering from an illness, or any struggle, and said to myself "take it easy!!" So that's just what I did here.
I chose the layout sketch is from FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES, because it was very basic, and then chose the color challenge from COLOR Q CHALLENGE.
This is not a color swatch that I would have put together normally, so the challenge was definitely on! I'm happy with how they all worked together! I like the slightly rustic effect the focal point adds to the card, too :)
All stamps, inks & papers here are SU! The stamp set is "Postage Due".
I want to share some other exciting news, too! Look at what arrived in the mail on Saturday!!
My first little handful of Copics!!!
I am already certain that this is just the beginning -- this is how an addiction gets started!! LOL!! There are some missing colors that were not available when I ordered, but I will definitely fill in those gaps as soon as possible. Hopefully, I have enough here to play around a little bit & get the hang of it.
If you have any storage ideas for Copic markers that you would like to share with me, please leave a comment!! Since I'm just starting, I am open to suggestions....and I already know to THINK BIG!! I know myself & my addictions. I'm sure this one won't disappoint LOL!!
