When Valentine's Day was still 3 months away, I had grand plans of making sweet little boxes full of candy for everyone I know. (sound familiar to any of you?!!) Now that it is NEXT WEEK!!! I am being very realistic & saying "OK, I'm going to make a box for my mom, my hubby, and hopefully finish them both on time!!!! hee hee!
So I was really happy to see that this week over at CAS-UAL FRIDAYS BLOG their challenge was for any project using Love Letters. This was the encouragement I needed to get busy!!
Since my favorite #2 Box die was still on the table, away I went!! This time the box was made with SU! Early Espresso, and I used the same Designer Papers from My Mind's Eye "Lost and Found" collection that were used on THIS BOX.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! "My Little Valentine", the hearts are Sizzix embosslit hearts. The filigree brad (don't you love that?!!) was one of the gifts from Close to My Heart that my friend, Sharon, sent to me.
I think this qualifies for the challenge since I used the "XOXO" tags!! At least I hope so!! At any rate, now I have a couple of boxes made now, with a week to spare. The universe must be rockin' because I don't usually even get around to making Valentine gifts, much less to have a couple done ahead of time!!!
