I'm getting ready for a trip tomorrow with my mom. She is from a very large family - 11 brothers & sisters - and most of them live around the same area where they grew up. I love my extended family (27 first cousins...on my mom's side!!) - but kinda blew it this year on remembering birthdays!! If you remember a few weeks back I was working on a new perpetual birthday calendar - well, that's one of the reasons!! (BTW, I still haven't found the original one!!)
Anyway - since I've missed basically everyone's b'day this year, I decided to treat all of my aunts to an early Christmas gift. Well, more honestly - I decided to bribe their forgiveness with a little treat :)
These are the little boxes that I made for them.
I'm putting little lotions, bath gels, etc. from Bath & Body Works in them (perfect fit!!) with some chocolate treats. I think they will love them! Anyway, it's for sure that they will fight over them - that's just what they do... act like little kids fighting over... whatever! Did I tell you my aunts are in their 70's & 80's?? LOL!! Like I said, I love my extended family. And I'll keep saying it until I believe it!!! hahaha!!!
These are SU!/Sizzix Fancy Favor boxes, along with a Sizzix mistletoe & embellishment die. I think I'm OK to say "Sizzix" here, since SU! does team up with them.....
The other embellishments are pretty simple - snip of lace woven through SU! Big Buttons. Colors are Cherry Cobbler, Almost Artichoke & Crumb Cake.
