This card has the illusion of being a shaker card, but it isn't. I have used a Window Sheet inside the Scallop Oval Frame (Sizzix die), and layered with Dimensionals. But it doesn't have the glitter floating around in there - it's all attached to the trees!
I think this was my lazy version of a shaker card! My trip with my mom last week really, really wore me down. I came home with a stomach virus & just as I could keep anything on my stomach, my mom fell & dislocated her shoulder!! We spent a few hours in ER with her, and by the time I got home from there - I had a full blown head cold. Geez!! I won't ask what else is going to happen - for fear that something will LOL!!
My mom counted 18 relatives that came to see us last Tuesday, and another 20 on Wednesday!! Oh, that wasn't all of my relatives - just a "nice sampling"! It was such a treat to see them all. There were several second cousins that I had never even met :) What a treat to meet John Ellis & Matt, Klara Paige, and Abby....oh, and they're not all "little" cousins ...Abby got married in July LOL!! Congrats, again, Abby!!! I am so fortunate to have such a large family!! And I can't wait to see them all again!!
Anyway, back to the card! This really was quite simple to make by using the Sizzix die. The frame, the Window Sheet, and the White cardstock in the middle are all cut from the die. :) The tree is from "Lovely as a Tree", stamped in Old Olive. Other colors are Real Red and Baja Breeze. Clear Rhinestones were added - along with lots & lots of Dazzling Diamonds glitter!!
I hope your week is off to a great start!! Thanks for visiting!!
