Doesn't it seem that way to you sometimes? Me, too!!
Last week I mentioned that I had a card started, and would be posting it soon. This is the card - and I have to admit that the ONLY thing missing was the first-part-of-the-inside!!
This is a 4 X 12, tri-fold card...which makes me giggle out loud because at the same time I was building this card, my friend Sarah was posting THIS CARD. Wow - great minds really do think alike!!
Our cards are different dimensions, and different themes, but the same general idea, tri-fold cards. These are sooo easy, and obviously there are no rules - just do what makes you smile :)
I started with White 12 X 4 Textured cs, scored at 4" and 8". Next came the stamping - I stamped all over with my new "Delicate Doilies" set, using new IN COLORS Wisteria Wonder & Calypso Coral, with some accents of Melon Mambo. The sentiments were all stamped in Basic Gray. (oh, the sentiment on the front came from "My Friend", the sentiment on this section came from "Best of Everything".
This is what the inside looks like when completely open.
And this last pic is a close-up of the sentiment on the inside - from one of my new favorite sets called "Blessings from Heaven".
What a fun card this was to make, and I hope it's going to make my friend very happy when she opens it up in the mail!!
Now, as for what kept me away from finishing this card...sigh....I was playing in the dirt again! LOL! It's true - since my new little Greenhouse garden came together so beautifully, I decided to go ahead and start "Phase II". I haven't quite completed it - but plan on having some pics of the whole project later in the week.
In the meantime, we also travelled over to VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY yesterday to give my little 2nd cousin, Alisa, a wonderful send-off to start her next 4 (or more) years there!! She is a beautiful young lady, and I wish her the very, very best!!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend, too, and get the chance to get your hands inky this week! Thanks for stopping by today!!
