This sweet little card was so much fun to make!

I wanted something to combine circles & squares, and wanted the focal point off-center.  At first I had the whole center piece moved over to one side, but in the end just decided to off-set the very center part with the sentiment.  Sometimes a girl just needs to get a little off-center, if you know what I mean!!

Plus, it seems like I've been doing quite a lot with the new In Colors lately (which I LOVE!!) and I didn't want to get in another color rut - so this made me stretch my wings a bit.  We all need to do that sometimes whether we like it or not!!

Anyway, TGIF!!  I'm posting this ahead of time, as Steve & I should be travelling back home today from another trip to TN.  I'm looking forward to a weekend by the pool with one of my home-made smoothies!!  Have a good one!!!

Gettin' my MOJO!!

It's been a while since I've played along with Mojo Monday.  It isn't because I don't love their sketches - not at all!  I do love all of their card layouts.  There just aren't enough hours in the day!!  I'm sure most of you out there in the blogosphere will agree with me on this!  :-)

This is another of their terrific sketches, and I decided to take the opportunity to rip open my new rub-ons called "Autumn Harvest" for this challenge.  I also decided to stretch my color combo into a whole new palette - Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom & Dusty Durango.  These colors worked well together!!

Here's a TIP about these SU! Rub-ons - you get one sheet in Chocolate Chip AND one in White.  This comes in really handy when you want part of the sentiment in Chocolate and the other in White, as I've done with this card. 

Here's the Mojo challenge #97.  It's a great layout, don't you think?  What a great opportunity to use the Circle Cutter, too!

Tastefully Simple's Asian Zen Noodle & Sauce Mix is yummy when mixed according to the box....but try it this way for a really special treat!

Asian Zen Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
Asian Zen™ Noodle & Sauce Mix
1/2 cup chopped broccoli florets
1/2 cup Chinese pea pods
8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained & chopped
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil

Directions
Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil in a large saucepan; stir in noodles, broccoli and pea pods. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Watch carefully to avoid boiling over.) Rinse noodles and vegetables in cold water; drain and set aside. Combine contents of Packet 2 with 1 cup water and oil; whisk to blend. Add prepared sauce and remaining ingredients to noodle mixture; cover and chill 1 hour. Makes 10-12 servings.
