Double Pocket Card Tutorial
This is such a fun & easy card to make that you will want to make a whole bunch of them -- like I did!!
For my sample, I've used "True Friend" with coordinating wheel "Boho Friend" wheeled with VersaMark ink. Colors are Garden Green, Really Rust and Naturals Ivory, ribbon is Ivory Taffeta tied with Linen Thread. Also used are gold eyelets (set with Crop-A-Dile), gold brad, Scallop punch, 3/4" and 1 1/4" punches and Coluzzle, corner rounder and Dimensionals.
Now for the instructions.....
Step 1: Start with an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of cardstock, fold it in half vertically.
Step 2: Open the paper back up and fold it in half horizontally.
Step 3: With the paper face down, cut on the fold from the right side to the center fold.
Step 4: With paper still facing down, make a fold in the lower right hand corner over to 1" from the center fold. This is shown in the picture below..... I have nooooo idea why I can't get this step to line up beside the proper picture!! :-)
Step 5: Fold the upper left-hand corner over and down to the center fold.
Step 6: Fold the lower right-hand-side over to the left-hand-side.
Step 7: Fold bottom left-hand-side up to upper-left-hand-side.
Step 8: Fold right-side over to left side and attach with SNAIL. (this is actually the back of the card)
Step 9: Turn it over -- and this is what you'll see!
Step 10: Make 2 tags for inserts. These are 5" X 2 1/2.
Step 11: Decorate front as desired.
I know this sounds like a lot of steps, but it is sooooo easy to make! I hope you'll try it -- and PLEASE send me a pic of what you do with this great new card idea!
Thanks to my friend, Mary Ann, for sending this GREAT NEW CARD IDEA!!!!
