Ha! I bet some of you thought this post was about you!! I wouldn't do that... no, not when my own scales scream "get off me!" when I step on them!!!
This is Cousin, a/k/a Cuzzy. The baby of the family. He adopted us when we lived up in WVa. He was cold & hungry. It was the middle of winter. We weren't home. In fact, we were on vacation in Texas. But our neighbors thought it was our cat - seeing as to how we already had 2 black cats - must've been our cat, right??? Well, being the nice people that they are, they hooked up Cuzzy on our deck with food, water, AND AN ELECTRIC BLANKET!!! geez...
Anyway, when we got home, we had a new cat. Thanks guys!
So fast forward about 5 years, and we have an obese cat. No doubt that stems from being homeless & starving. And he is a BIG CAT. He should weigh a little more than the other two.
He went to the vet a year ago & weighed 21 lbs. She said he was very overweight & we needed to address the problem. We did. We took him to the vet this week & he was up to 23 lbs. See? We addressed it......
So he came home with new food & a new plan. Some food called "Satiety" that's supposed to make him feel "fuller". I guess it would work....if he would eat it.
So that was about $35 down the drain.
Then there's this...
The vet called it "The Fecalator"!!!
BWAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Just use your imagination on that one....
That's Steve's job anyway!
So now I'm left with a hungry cat who got 4 shots and feels yukky, and somebody needs to collect some poop & take it back to the vet.
My life is just too stressful for this stuff. I caved in last night and gave him the wet food again. Not as much as usual. But some.
We have to ease into this thing.....there's nothing worse than a cranky cat!!!

P.S. DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE NEW IN COLOR CLUB!!
